UPDATE: Man in custody for January murder in Macon
According to a Bibb County Sheriff's office news release, deputies responded to the 3900 block of Hattie Drive just before 11 p.m. and found the man with a gunshot wound.

UPDATE: (3/27) – An arrest has been made in the murder of a man in Macon earlier this year.
The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office says a Crimestoppers tip led to the arrest of Rickey Terrell Parks Jr., who was wanted in connection to the shooting death of 31-year-old Kyle Alexander Brown.
Brown was found with a gunshot wound in the 3900 block of Hattie Drive on January 26.
Parks Jr. was taken into custody on Thursday at 1:30 p.m. in the area of Flewellyn Drive.
He’s charged with murder and is being held without bond.
UPDATE: Bibb County deputies have now identified the victim of Saturday night’s shooting as 31-year-old Kyle Alexander Brown. Deputies corrected his age in an updated media release.
“It was reported to investigators that Brown was involved in an altercation and shortly after gunshots were heard,” the updated added.

MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – A 32-year-old man is dead after being shot Saturday night in east Bibb County.
According to a Bibb County Sheriff’s office news release, deputies responded to the 3900 block of Hattie Drive just before 11 p.m. and found the man with a gunshot wound.
He was taken to Atrium Health Navicent, where he was pronounced dead. His identity hasn’t been released pending notification of family
