Bibb deputies investigating two shootings

Deputies responded to a call from Medical Center, Navicent Health around 11:30 at night. Hospital officials told them two people were being treated for gunshot wounds. 

The first victim, Zonderius Fort, told investigators he was walking from The Park at Edna Place Apartments and when he got to the intersection of Pio Nono and Montpelier Avenues, a gray car with four black males shot at him before driving off. The shooters hit Fort in the leg. 

Another victim, Gabrial Jackson, told deputies he was at a house on Winship Drive when someone shot into it. He was hit in his right hand. Jackson didn’t give the exact address of the shooting. 

Anyone with information about these two shootings is asked to call the Bibb County Sheriff’s Office.
