UPDATE: 2 women arrested, accused of aiding escape and capture of Johnifer Barnwell
A Bibb County Sheriff's Office news release says the sheriff's office Gang Unit, with the assistance of the Drug Unit, Special Response Team and FBI, arrested 30-year-old Jacorshia Smith and 30-year-old Janecia Green around 6 a.m. Tuesday in the 1700 block of Campbell Avenue in Macon.

UPDATE (11/14 – 4:35 p.m.): Two women are now in custody, accused of aiding the escape and capture of 37-year-old Johnifer Dernard Barnwell.
A Bibb County Sheriff’s Office news release says the sheriff’s office Gang Unit, with the assistance of the Drug Unit, Special Response Team and FBI, arrested 30-year-old Jacorshia Smith and 30-year-old Janecia Green around 6 a.m. Tuesday in the 1700 block of Campbell Avenue in Macon.
Smith was taken to the Bibb County Jail. She faces state charges of aiding/aid and abetting and also has additional federal charges pending, the sheriff’s office said. She is being held without bond.
Green was taken to the Butts County Jail and faces state and federal charges of aiding/aid and abetting. She’s also being held without bond.

MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – 37-year-old Johnifer Barnwell, one of four men who escaped from the Bibb County Jail on October 16, is now back in custody.
A Bibb County Sheriff’s Office news release says he was taken into custody at a home in Augusta just after 8 a.m. Sunday.
Deputies say large amounts of drugs “of trafficking quantity” were recovered from the home as well.
Barnwell, Chavis Stokes and Marc Anderson have now been recaptured. 52-year-old Joey Fournier remains on the run.
