UPDATE: Macon man missing four days found safe

They say he has been returned to his family.

(UPDATE) 7/29: According to a news release from the Bibb County Sheriff’s Office Tuesday night, Carl Ford has been located and is safe.

MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office is asking for help finding a missing man.

According to a sheriff’s office news release, 79-year-old Carl Ford was reported missing around 7 p.m. Friday.

Family members say he was last seen leaving a store in the 4100 block of Napier Avenue.

Fod is 5’11” and weighs 165 pounds. He was last seen wearing a white shirt, blue jeans and brown shoes. Ford’s family says he has dementia and that he hadn’t taken his medicine.
