Bibb deputies: 28-year-old hospitalized after Wednesday afternoon shooting

A 28-year-old man is in the hospital after being shot Wednesday afternoon.

MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – A 28-year-old man is in the hospital after being shot Wednesday afternoon.

A Bibb County Sheriff’s Office news release says it happened in the 3400 block of Houston Avenue just after 4 p.m.

Deputies say they arrived and found the man with a gunshot wound. Paramedics took him to a medical facility.

Medical staff say he’s in stable condition.
