Bibb deputies: 2 hospitalized after crash on Pio Nono Avenue

Two people are hospitalized after a crash on Pio Nono Avenue at Rocky Creek Road.

MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – Two people are hospitalized after a crash on Pio Nono Avenue at Rocky Creek Road Sunday afternoon.

A Bibb County Sheriff’s Office news release says it happened around 3:30 p.m.

A 51-year-old Macon woman is in critical condition at Atrium Health Navicent after her Nissan Sentra, which was attempting a left turn at a red light, was struck by a northbound Honda CRV.

The driver of the Honda, a 31-year-old man, was also taken to Atrium Health Navicent.

No one else was injured. The crash is under investigation.
