Bibb County Sheriff’s Office warns residents of phone scam
MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office is warning residents to watch out for a phone scam that impersonates their office.
According to several victims the calls are coming from an Augusta phone number.

Deputies arrested 21-year-old Tevin Johnson, 23-year-old Latoria Gibson and 24-year Willie Johnson Jr. back in March for receiving financial gain through a similar scam.
