Bibb County Sheriff’s Office investigating East Macon shooting

MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a shooting that happened Monday morning in east Macon.

Deputies responded to call of a person being shot at the intersection of Cochran and Bowman streets just before 1:00 a.m.

They found 35-year old Kelly Woodford on Bowman and Kitchen streets near some abandoned apartments, with a gunshot wound in his back.

He was taken to the Medical Center, Navicent Health and is in stable condition.
