Bibb County Sheriff’s Office investigating death of missing person found in Jonesboro
The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office is investigating the death of a man who was reported missing on Wednesday and later found dead in Jonesboro.

MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office is investigating the death of a man who was reported missing on Wednesday and later found dead in Jonesboro.
The investigation began when a missing person report was called into the Macon-Bibb E911 center at 9:30 p.m. on Wednesday. On Thursday, deputies say they located the missing person’s vehicle near train tracks on Broadway. However, the vehicle was unoccupied when deputies arrived at the scene.
Later that day, investigators were contacted by the Jonesboro Police Department, who reported finding the body of the victim at a local gas station. Deputies say the victim was positively identified as Viet Vo.
Deputies believe Vo died near the intersection of Vineville Avenue and Stonewall Place, but a cause of death was not revealed.
On Friday, 25-year-old Jamarion Neville was taken into custody in connection with Vo’s death. Deputies did not disclose specific charges.
