Bibb County Sheriff’s Office investigating armed robbery at Macon Food Mart
The armed robbery took place at Macon Food Mart, located at 4320 Mercer University Drive.
MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office is investigating an armed robbery that took place at Macon Food Mart on Sunday.
It happened on just after 9 p.m. at the store, located at 4320 Mercer University Drive.
Deputies say witnesses reported that a masked woman entered the store and showed the clerk a gun before demanding the money from the register. The masked woman fled with an unknown amount of cash.
No one was injured. The suspect was last seen wearing a mask, yellow sweater, jeans and white sneakers.
