Bibb County Sheriff’s deputy faces child molestation charges

MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – Bibb County Sheriff’s Deputy Kenneth Lee Brown is behind bars after an investigation by the sheriff’s office.

According to a news release, Brown approached a 14-year-old girl on July 29th on 2050 old Clinton Road and touched her in an inappropriate manner repeatedly ignoring her pleas for him stop.

The sheriff’s deputy also pointed a gun at 19-year-old Kerwin Williams and the juvenile during the incident when she attempted to help.

Brown is charged with one felony count of enticing a child for indecent purposes, one felony count of child molestation, two felony counts of aggravated assault, one felony count of possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony and one count of violation of oath of office.

Sheriff’s David Davis says Brown is pending termination awaiting the results of the investigation. His bond is set at $61,250.
