Bibb County Sheriff’s Correction’s Officer fires at burglary suspect

MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – A Bibb County Sheriff’s Correction Officer walked out of his home on Ash Street around 6:30 A.M. Wednesday morning and noticed a man in his car.

According to a news release, during the incident the correctional officer fired two shots at the suspect with his personal weapon.

The suspect fled the scene. He’s described as 5 feet 6 inches in height and weighing around 155lbs. He was last seen wearing a green hoodie, dark jeans, dark socks and sandals.
