UPDATE: Missing 63-year-old Macon man found safe

ORIGINAL STORY (11/12/25):

MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public’s help to find a 63-year-old man who has been missing for more than a week.

According to a news release, Larry Roy Hamlett was last seen on November 4 after 11 p.m. at his home before leaving, and he has not returned since. Deputies did not specify the location of his home.

Deputies say Hamlett is bald with hair on the sides of his head. He is 5’7″ and weighs about 150 pounds. He has brown eyes and a beard with shades of gray and black, He was last seen wearing an Atlanta Falcons ballcap, a green jacket with gray sleeves and denim jeans, the release said.
