Two inmates hospitalized after fight at Bibb County jail

MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – Two inmates were hospitalized after a fight inside the Bibb County Law Enforcement Center Wednesday night, according to the Bibb County Sheriff’s Office.

Officials say it happened just after 8 p.m.

Deputies say both inmates’ injuries were not life-threatening.

According to the sheriff’s office, one inmate has since been returned to the jail, while the other remains at the hospital for additional treatment.

The fight remains under investigation, and charges are pending, the sheriff’s office said.
