Bibb County deputies search for theft suspect

MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public’s help identifying and locating a suspect who stole a wallet.

The theft took place Friday, September 26 at the Kroger located at 220 Tom Hill Sr. Boulevard.

Deputies say the victim left his wallet at the service desk, and when he went back for it, the wallet was gone.

The store’s security cameras showed a male approximately 6 feet tall and weighing around 200 pounds take the wallet.

He was wearing a red hat with black letters, a black shirt and dark colored pants.

The suspect is wanted for questioning in the theft and use of credit cards that were in the stolen wallet.
