Bibb County deputies: Suspect arrested after ShotSpotter Alert on Cedar Avenue
A Bibb County Sheriff's Office deputy arrested a man on an aggravated assault charge over the weekend after responding to a ShotSpotter alert.

MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – A Bibb County Sheriff’s Office deputy arrested a man on an aggravated assault charge over the weekend after responding to a ShotSpotter alert.
According to a sheriff’s office Facebook post, a man came out of a home on Cedar Avenue and began shooting while several women were arguing. The gunfire struck the passenger side of a Jeep Compass.
The women in the Jeep left the scene and later called to report the shooting, according to the sheriff’s office.
Deputies took the suspect, later identified as 35-year-old Guerdy Edmond, into custody and took him to the Bibb County Jail.
