MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – Bibb County Sheriff’s Office Animal Services will be closed on Saturday, January 20.

The shelter, located at 4214 Fulton Mill Road, made the announcement in a Facebook post Friday afternoon.

“Unfortunately, we will be closed to the public tomorrow,” the post said. “Some of our FurBabies are sick and we will be shut down for deep cleaning. We will be back open to the public on Tuesday.”

The shelter is normally closed on Sunday and Monday but is open Tuesday through Friday from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. and on Saturday from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.
