Bibb coroner: 2 men found dead on Birch Street

Bibb County Leon Jones says the two men, who he said were brothers, were found unresponsive around 4:30 Sunday afternoon.

MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – Two men were found dead Sunday afternoon in Macon.

Bibb County Coroner Leon Jones says the men, who he said were brothers, were discovered by their father around 4:30 at a home at 1136 Birch Street. Jones says they were pronounced dead at 4:55.

Jones identified the men as 50-year-old Edward Patterson Jr. and 46-year-old Christopher Patterson.

He said their bodies will be sent to the GBI Crime Lab for autopsies to determine their causes of death.
