Macon-Bibb Commissioners vote on hotel tax increase

MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – During the Macon-Bibb Commission meeting tonight, commissioners will vote on a hotel and motel tax increase.

If approved, the tax will go from 7-percent to 8-percent. Local legislators will then bring the tax increase to the state legislative session for approval.
