Bibb BOE continues superintendent search

MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – At it’s meeting tonight, the board announced the Georgia School Boards Association, or GSBA, had received three applications and multiple phone calls about the position.

The deadline to apply is March 28th.

The board also voted to purchase 1.5 million dollars worth of new computers for select schools.

This will increase online testing abilities.

The board members also approved a resolution that will front more than 2.4 million dollars to begin work on a data center in the Hutchings Career Center.

That money will eventually be repaid with funds that will come in at a later date.
