UPDATE: Deputies looking for Macon man they say is tied to Arkwright Road vehicle break-ins

Investigators say six vehicles were broken into at a hotel on Arkwright Road early Monday morning.

UPDATE (12/10/25): Bibb County investigators are searching for a 20-year-old Macon man now identified as a person of interest in a series of vehicle break-ins reported earlier this week on Arkwright Road.

The sheriff’s office said Wednesday night it is looking for Keyontae Dontrell Walston, who is wanted on multiple charges. Those charges include entering auto, first degree criminal damage to property, second degree criminal damage to property, second degree cruelty to children and discharging a firearm on the property of another.

Deputies say Walston is between 5’8″ and 5’11” and weighs around 150 pounds.

The case stems from entering auto investigations inside the 3900 block of Arkwright Road on December 8. That morning, deputies responded to a 4:48 a.m. call reporting that six vehicles were broken into at the Country Inn and Suites.

Investigators did say what was taken from the vehicles.

MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – Bibb County deputies are investigating a series of vehicle break-ins reported early Monday morning at a hotel on Arkwright Road.

According to the Bibb County Sheriff’s Office, the call came into the Macon-Bibb Emergency 911 Center at 4:48 a.m. reporting that six vehicles were broken into in the parking lot of the Country Inn and Suites.

Deputies responded to the scene, and the case has since been turned over to the Criminal Investigations Division.

The sheriff’s office did not disclose what was taken from the vehicles. The investigation remains ongoing.
