Bank of Dudley to open in Jeffersonville

JEFFERSONVILLE, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – It’s been more than a year since residents in Jeffersonville could do their banking in their own community.

However, that will all soon change in November.

Officials with Bank of Dudley, announced, Tuesday, they are opening a branch in Jeffersonville.

President and CEO, Sam Beall, made the announcement at the site of the new bank location at 207 Main Street.

Beal says he is expecting to create partnerships with industries and help them to grow in the area.

“We’re looking at servicing the community,” he says. “We are a community bank,” says Beall. “We’ve been around 109 years. We were established in 1905 and we plan on being here for the long term. We’re not here for the short term.”

Beall says the bank is looking to fill five positions, and as they grow there will be more job opportunities.
