Baldwin Bravettes championship parade set for Saturday

The parade will begin at 1 p.m. at the Milledgeville Police Station.

MILLEDGEVILLE, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – The Baldwin Bravettes will be celebrated with a parade on Saturday after winning the GHSA Class 4A title earlier this month.

According to the Baldwin County School District, the parade will start at 1 p.m. at the Milledgeville Police Station and will continue on to McIntosh and make a right on North Jefferson before making a right on Hancock Street.

The parade, which will stop at City Hall for a reading of a proclamation in honor of the team, will feature the Baldwin High School cheerleaders as well as the Ten and Under GRPA Girls Basketball State Champions.

It will end at the Georgia College Magnolia Ballroom.

“Following the parade, the Baldwin County School District will host its annual Distinguished Alumni Gala at The Magnolia Ballroom beginning at 6:00 pm,” a District news release said.
