Bacon advance to CPL Championship Series with 7-2 win over Forest City

MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – The Bacon needed an extra day but the wait was well worth it as Macon defeated Forest City to advance to the CPL Championship Series.

The Bacon will take on the Wilmington Sharks in a best-of-three series that starts Saturday night at Luther Williams Field. The series will shift to Wilmington Sunday night for Game 2. If the series is tied at that point, the Sharks will host a winner-take-all Game 3 on Monday.
