Attorney’s for Macon accounting firm file motion to dismiss Dallemand lawsuit

MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – The accounting firm involved in a lawsuit against a former Bibb County Schools superintendent is asking a Florida judge to dismiss the case.

The attorney’s representing Mauldin & Jenkins filed the motion in Collier County, Florida. It claims Florida isn’t the right place for Dr. Romain Dallemand’s lawsuit because it has no connection to that state. It adds the case should be argued in Bibb County.

Dallemand is suing the Macon firm because he claims it published false information about him in a 2013 audit.

The attorney’s for Mauldin & Jenkins expect the judge to make a ruling within the next few months.
