Atrium Health Navicent Baldwin welcomes first baby of 2026
Hospital marks new year with birth of first baby of 2026 in Milledgeville

MILLEDGEVILLE, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – Atrium Health Navicent Baldwin welcomed its first baby of 2026 on New Year’s Day.
According to a news release, baby Siari was born at 9:40 a.m. Thursday at Atrium Health Navicent Baldwin. She weighed 5 pounds, 14.7 ounces and measured 18.5 inches long. Her parents are Samone Smith and Marquivious Rogers.
Hospital officials say welcoming the first baby of the year is always a meaningful moment for staff and families.
