Atlanta police find car belonging to woman killed in Memphis
ATLANTA, Georgia (AP) – Atlanta police say they’ve found a car belonging to a woman who was stabbed to death in west Tennessee as they continue to search for a suspect in the killing.
Police said the blue 2013 Buick Verano was found Monday southeast of downtown Atlanta.
Police in Memphis, Tennessee, say Raymond Clark is being sought on murder and kidnapping warrants in the killing of his former girlfriend, Zeneatrice Crawford, in Memphis.
Police say Clark argued with Crawford and then stabbed her repeatedly while both were in the Buick Verano on Saturday in Memphis. They say her body was later found behind a vacant house in a north Memphis neighborhood.
Atlanta police said the driver of the car found in Atlanta – whom they didn’t identify – left the scene on foot.
