At Least One Person Airlifted to Hospital After Laurens County Wreck

DUDLEY, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) — According to a firefighter on the scene, at least one person was airlifted to a nearby hospital after a bad wreck Wednesday evening in Laurens County.

It happened at the corner of Highway 80 and Old Hawkinsville Road, close to I-16.

41NBC’s Sean Franklin drove up on the accident, and said two sedans, one red and one gray were crushed.

The Lauren’s County Sheriff’s Office, the Dudley Fire Department, and Georgia State Patrol were all on the scene around 7:45.
