Another spring-like day on tap for Middle Georgia
A fairly quiet forecast will be the order of the day. Morning clouds have cleared. Mostly sunny skies in most locations with highs warming into the upper 60s to mid 70s.

MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – A fairly quiet forecast will be the order of the day. Morning clouds have cleared. Mostly sunny skies in most locations with highs warming into the upper 60s to mid 70s. Despite clear skies, overnight temperatures will remain above freezing area-wide.
High pressure centered along the northern Gulf Coast will transition eastward. Wednesday will be a transition day in the region as surface high pressure gives way to an approaching trough. As this transition occurs, expect a return to southwesterly winds and mild temperatures. Widespread high temperatures in the 70s are expected Wednesday afternoon. The warmer temps should combine with dewpoints in the 40s to produce low relative humidity values. Shifting conditions on Thursday will lead to light rain being the highlight of the day. Rain will move out Thursday evening and surface high pressure will settle into Middle Georgia late Thursday and Friday.
Temperatures will be in the mid to upper 60s.
