Animal Welfare offers adoption fee special
MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – Macon-Bibb County Animal Welfare is reducing their adoption fees every Tuesday and Saturday during the month of November.
The fee is reduced from 80-dollars to 10-dollars.
People interested in adopting are still responsible for a 10-dollar licensing fee and a 50-dollar spay and neuter fee. The Assistant County Manager, Steve Layson, said the spay/neuter fee can be reimbursed.
Animal Welfare also changed its business hours. It will be open on Mondays and closed on Wednesdays.
