Deputies say woman wanted in Monroe County believed to be armed and dangerous

MONROE COUNTY, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – The Monroe County Sheriff’s Office is searching for a 19-year-old woman it says is wanted in connection with an armed robbery in Monroe County and a theft in Bibb County.

Deputies say Amber LaCount is believed to be armed and dangerous.

According to the sheriff’s office, the armed robbery happened Thursday in Monroe County. No further information was provided about either case.

The sheriff’s office says LaCount is 5 feet 5 inches tall and weighs about 147 pounds.

Anyone who sees LaCount or knows where she is should call 911 or the Monroe County Sheriff’s Office Communications Division at (478) 994-7011.
