Authorities searching for Montez Harris, last seen with suspect in silver Ford F-150
UPDATE: Bibb County Sheriff’s Office Investigators with the assistance of the U.S. Marshals Southeast Regional Fugitive Task Force and Florida Caribbean Regional Fugitive Task Force safely located 2-month-old Montez Harris just after 5:20pm.
Maurtez Rashaad Edwards was stopped in Liberty County, Florida and taken into custody.

MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT)— The Georgia Bureau of Investigation has issued an AMBER Alert for a 7-month-old boy believed to have been abducted from Macon on Saturday morning.

According to the Bibb County Sheriff’s Office, Montez Harris was last seen at approximately 10:51 a.m. on August 3 at 1745 Rocky Creek Road. Authorities said the child, a Black male with black hair and brown eyes, was wearing a gray shirt with an animal print, white and brown mittens, and yellow socks.
The suspect has been identified as Maurtez Rashaad Edwards, a 23-year-old Black male who stands 5 feet 9 inches tall and weighs approximately 180 pounds.
Investigators believe Edwards may be traveling with the child in a silver 2016 Ford F-150 pickup truck bearing Georgia license plate ZKF875.
The GBI stated that the child is believed to be in extreme danger.

Last seen at 1745 Rocky Creek Road in Macon GA. Suspect and child are believed to be traveling in a 2016 Silver Ford F150 Truck with a Georgia tag.
