Allen, Defore going to runoff for Bibb District 5 seat

MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – Incumbent District 5 Commissioner Ed Defore and former commissioner Joe Allen will compete in a runoff for the seat in July.

Allen took 49% of the vote Tuesday in a 3-man race that also included former Bibb County Emergency Management Agency Director Don Druitt.

Defore got 41% of the vote.

The runoff is July 26.
