A bit more sunshine Tuesday

MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – Sunnier conditions are finally returning to Middle Georgia after a cloudy weekend.
This Evening
Partly to mostly cloudy skies from the afternoon should largely clear out as the evening goes on. It will be a cooler night with wind coming in at 5-10 mph from the northeast that will shift towards the northwest by nights end. Lows will be below average as they drop into the lower 60s. A couple of upper 50s cannot be ruled out. Some clouds may move into the northeastern counties ahead of tomorrow morning, but much of the region should begin Tuesday on a sunny note.
Tomorrow
A sunny morning will give way to partly cloudy skies in the afternoon. Highs will reach the mid to upper 80s with ambient wind out of the west at 5-10 mph. Gusts could reach as high as 20 mph, however. A couple of spotty showers cannot be ruled out in the afternoon. Any clouds, rain, and wind seen tomorrow and Wednesday will be tied to Tropical Depression 8 which is currently moving into the Carolinas.
Overnight expect a jump in temperatures as lows fall into the mid 60s under partly cloudy skies. Some clouds should clear out overnight, however, especially if TD 8 ends up tracking further northward. Wind will be light and variable.
The Tropics
Aside from TD 8 there is also Tropical Depression Gordon. It does not pose a risk to land.
