Centerville has its First Fall Festival
CENTERVILLE, Georgia (41NBC/WGMT) – The first annual Fall Festival was a success in Centerville on Saturday.
Bounce houses, food, and live music filled Center State Park.
Jordan Clements attended the event. He said he grew up in Centerville and the festival was exactly what the community needed.
“Growing up there was nothing like this before. Centerville was just another city and actually it was integrated with Warner Robins and that’s how you looked at it,” he said. “Warner Robins was Centerville. And with stuff like this Centerville is claiming it’s own as a city.”
The Economic Director of the city said the mayor and council made a commitment to have more events for the community.
Also, since the city could not use their fireworks due to weather conditions during Fourth of July, they were used at the Fall Festival.
