Employees honor Macon-Bibb Parks and Recreation director, Reggie Moore
MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – After eighteen years of dedication to Macon-Bibb Parks and Recreation, director Reggie Moore, is saying goodbye. Over the years Moore helped with renovations and construction of rec centers like Rosa Jackson, Frank Johnson’ and South Bibb. As well as other parks in the community.
On Wednesday Parks and Recreation department threw Moore a party. They thanked him for his work and leadership in the community. He hopes the work continues after he’s gone.
“I just encourage the community to continue to believe in the division and direction of the rec department,” said Moore. “To continue to show input as the rec department continues to move forward and stride to be the best organization, agency in the state of Georgia.”
Moore’s last day as director is Friday. He will be taking on as head of the Parks and Recreation in Baltimore, Maryland.
