Vigil held for Jones County teen missing for almost a year

JONES COUNTY, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – A vigil was held tonight for a teen who is missing out of Spalding, Georgia.

Aubrey Carroll was 15 years old last year when he was last seen at Spalding High School in May. Investigators believe Aubrey ran away.
Tonight, friends and family gathered near Jones County High School.
Aubrey Carroll grew up in Jones County.  He’d only been in Spalding County about three months before he went missing. Aubrey’s mother is overwhelmed by the support she’s getting at this very difficult time.

Danielle Vinson Aubrey’s Mother said, “Amazing it let’s me know I did a good job raising him to be the person he is. I never realized how many people would come out and stand behind me.”

Aubry’s mother believes her son is still alive. The Spalding County Sheriff’s Office is offering a 5 thousand dollar reward for any information that leads them to Aubrey Carroll.
