Dollar General robbed at gunpoint in Macon

MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office is looking for two masked men, accused of robbing the Dollar General on Pio Nono Avenue Thursday night.

Investigators say two men, wearing masks, entered the store carrying shotguns and demanded money from the store’s safe. After being unable to open the safe, the men stole cash from the register and fled on foot.

No one was injured.
