Teen shot in West Macon

MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) –  The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a shooting that took place early Monday morning in West Macon.

19 year old Traveon Robinson was shot once in the leg. Robinson told deputies he was walking on Montpelier Avenue near Montpelier Place when two males on bicycles approached him and asked him about being in that area.

One of the suspects shot him. Robinson went to a home on Berkner Court for help and that’s when police were called.

He was taken to Medical Navicent Health for treatment and is listed in stable condition.
