Houston County car burglary investigation leads to 3 arrests

PERRY, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – Three Perry residents are accused of breaking into and stealing from cars over the last few weeks.

The Perry Police Department partnered with the Houston County Sheriff’s Department and searched several homes in the area, according to a news release. The homes are listed below:

Search warrants:

206 Brandonshire Lane in Warner Robins

117 Sunnybrook Dr. in Perry

Consent searches:

105 North Hiley Court in Warner Robins

2350 Houston Lake Road, Apartment 1017 in Kathleen

203 Mitculler Ct. in Kathleen

 

Investigators found several thousand dollars worth of property, 2 guns and an Ak-47 assault rifle during these searches. They also found marijuana and schedule IV narcotics.

Riley Hamm, 18, is charged with 3 counts of burglary in the 2nd degree and possession of marijuana less than an ounce. John Jones, 20, is charged with 3 counts of burglary in the 2nd degree and possession of marijuana less than an ounce. Austin Clements, 19, is charged with 3 counts of burglary in the 2nd degree, possession of marijuana less than an ounce and possession of schedule IV narcotics.

Perry police officers expect more charges to be filed once the investigation is finished.
