Commitment hearing rescheduled for Macon man accused of killing brother

MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – Alton Williams’ commitment hearing was rescheduled.

The 62 year old is accused of killing his brother.

A public defender told the Bibb County Magistrate judge Williams is trying to get Frank Hogue as his attorney. He said they’ve agreed on a payment, but Williams hasn’t paid yet. Hogue will need to request another commitment hearing date.

The shooting happened February 23 at a home on John Waller Drive in Macon. Harry Williams, 57, died from a gunshot wound to the chest.
