Florida woman arrested in Monroe County for “date rape” drug possession

MONROE COUNTY, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – One Florida woman is in jail in Monroe County after deputies found more than $24,000 worth of the “date rape” drug in her car after pulling her over. 

Mandi Jackson is charged with possession of a controlled substance with intent to distribute. 

The drug, GHB. causes the victim to feel sleepy and not remember what happened after waking up. Deputies also found a .40 caliber handgun and marijuana. 

She’s being held in jail without bond.
