Winter returns to start 2016
Middle Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – Weather forecasts get a lot easier this coming week. After an extraordinary December with record warmth and rainfall, winter returns in 2016.
Our cold front, which stalled in Middle Georgia this week and brought rain day after day, finally moves south, ushering colder and drier air into the area. It’ll still be cloudy today, but tomorrow, expect a beautiful mix of sun and clouds.
Highs drop to the 50s through Monday. Then Tuesday, a wedge forms and drops highs to the 40s. Overnight lows will drop to seasonable 30s this weekend, but with that wedge I just talked about, expect 20s for lows by Tuesday morning.
At the moment, there’s no rain on the 7-Day.
