Major cold shot coming this weekend
MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – After the cold front passed through Georgia yesterday, we get to enjoy considerably drier weather today. No rain, low humidity, what’s better than that? How about adding a high of 71 on top of it all? It’ll be chilly this evening in the 50s, then a morning low tomorrow of 40.
Cloud cover lifts into the area tomorrow from the south, which will bring a chance for a few showers in the Peach State. Not a big deal, but something to consider as you enjoy your chilly Saturday. Highs tomorrow will be in the 50s!
At the same time, another cold front pushes through the southeast tomorrow night. On Sunday, it’ll be sunny but just as chilly with a high of 55. Don’t be surprised if a freeze warning is issued Sunday night into Monday morning as the lows will get to the upper 20s and low 30s. Bring the plants and pets indoors.
Weather looks dry going into Thanksgiving, thankfully. Temperatures are expected to remain cool for the next seven days.
