Georgia Tech (3-6, 1-5 ACC) @ Virginia Tech (4-5, 2-3 ACC)
Thursday, November 12 at 7:30 p.m. ESPN
The Yellow Jackets have to win the rest of their games to become bowl eligible.

In five tries, they’ve never beaten Virginia Tech on a Thursday night:

Georgia Tech 30, Virginia Tech 24

Actual Score: Virginia Tech 23, Georgia Tech 21 (LOSS)

Georgia (6-3, 4-3 SEC) @ Auburn (5-4, 2-4 SEC)
Saturday, November 14 at 12 p.m. CBS
The Deep South’s Oldest Rivalry has been played 118 times, and it’s split right down the middle.

Dating back to 1892, the series record is 55-55-8.

Thank God ties don’t exist anymore:

Auburn 24, Georgia 23

Actual Score: Georgia 20, Auburn 13 (LOSS)

No. 11 Florida (8-1, 6-1 SEC) @ South Carolina (3-6, 1-6 SEC)
Saturday, November 14 at 12 p.m. ESPN
The Gators needed a late field goal last week in the Swamp to beat Vanderbilt 9-7.

Florida’s defense was the real MVP, but due to injuries, it could be without three starters Saturday in Williams-Brice.

By the way, Steve Spurrier won’t be there:

Florida 24, South Carolina 21

Actual Score: Florida 24, South Carolina 14 (WIN)

Mercer (4-5, 1-4 SoCon) @ Furman (4-5, 2-3 SoCon)
Saturday, November 14 at 1:30 p.m. ESPN3
Mercer’s hard work finally paid off last week as it beat No. 3 Chattanooga, 17-14.

It wasn’t a total surprise, considering the Bears’ four conference losses have come by a combined 13 points.

Coach Bobby Lamb will lead his team to another win Saturday, this time against his former employer:

Mercer 31, Furman 17

Actual Score: Mercer 27, Furman 20 – OT (WIN)

Wake Forest (3-6, 1-5 ACC) @ No. 4 Notre Dame (8-1)
Saturday, November 14 at 3:30 p.m. NBC
If the season were to end today, Notre Dame would be in the College Football Playoff.

An easy win over Wake Forest will keep it there, for now:

Notre Dame 42, Wake Forest 10

Actual Score: Notre Dame 28, Wake Forest 7 (WIN)

No. 2 Alabama (8-1, 5-1 SEC) @ No. 17 Mississippi State (7-2, 5-2 SEC)
Saturday, November 14 at 3:30 p.m. CBS *SEC NETWORK SEC NATION
Mississippi State matches up much better with Alabama than LSU.

That’s because the Bulldogs, led by senior quarterback Dak Prescott, actually have a passing game.

That said, good luck stopping Derrick Henry:

Alabama 28, Mississippi State 17

Actual Score: Alabama 31, Mississippi State 6 (WIN)

Georgia Southern (6-2, 4-1 Sun Belt) @ Troy (3-6, 2-3 Sun Belt)
Saturday, November 14 at 3:30 p.m. ESPN3
Troy just keeps improving under first-year coach Neal Brown.

The Trojans took Appalachian State to triple overtime two weeks ago. Last week, they beat ULM 51-14.

The Eagles are the better team, but they better bring their A game:

Georgia Southern 31, Troy 27

Actual Score: Georgia Southern 45, Troy 10 (WIN)

Kentucky (4-5, 2-5 SEC) @ Vanderbilt (3-6, 1-4 SEC)
Saturday, November 14 at 4 p.m. SEC NETWORK
Will anyone watch this game?

For real. Anyone?

Vanderbilt 17, Kentucky 10

Actual Score: Vanderbilt 21, Kentucky 17 (WIN)

Arkansas (5-4, 3-2 SEC) @ No. 9 LSU (7-1, 4-1 SEC)
Saturday, November 14 at 7:15 p.m. ESPN
Arkansas is coming off an overtime win over Ole Miss, while LSU is coming off a disappointing loss at Alabama.

The Tigers’ Leonard Fournette will get back on track after an awful performance in Tuscaloosa.

The Hogs’ Alex Collins should have a good day, too:

LSU 30, Arkansas 26

Actual Score: Arkansas 31, LSU 14 (LOSS)

No. 12 Oklahoma (8-1 5-1 Big 12) @ No. 6 Baylor (8-0, 5-0 Big 12)
Saturday, November 14 at 8 p.m. ABC *ESPN College GameDay
Baylor has embarrassed Oklahoma the last two seasons.

The Bears won 48-14 last season and 41-12 in 2013.

Oklahoma, which has scored 50+ points in four straight games, will give Baylor all it can handle this time around:

Baylor 42, Oklahoma 38

Actual Score: Oklahoma 44, Baylor 34 (LOSS)
