More heat and humidity, but some changes are coming.

More summer time weather again today, with more heat and humidity that will make you sweat before you get out of the car or your house.  Highs today are back into the mid 90’s for most of us. The problem is that with the humidity combined, it feels like the upper 90’s to near 100 degrees.  The good news is that there is some showers and thunderstorms around, but don’t hold your breath.  If you manage to get a storm, celebrate!  LOL  The storms will have some very heavy rainfall, some gusty winds, and some lightning.  Temperatures overnight will be back into the low to mid 70’s, so nothing new to say there.  To be honest, there is not much to say new about Friday afternoon as well.  There will be better chances for showers and thunderstorms next week as well.  Temperatures look to get back closer to normal, low 90’s for much of next week.  Don’t think we will get into the 80’s, but the low 90’s and better afternoon/evening storm chances look possible.  Stay tuned!
