Macon man arrested for armed robbery

MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – Bibb deputies arrested a man they say robbed another man at America’s Best Hotel on Harrison Road.

Samuel Dixon III is being held in the Bibb County Jail without bond for armed robbery.

The victim told investigators he was standing outside his hotel room when Dixon and two other people came up to him. Dixon pointed a gun at the man and took his shoes, some clothes and other valuables before running away with the other two men. Deputies found Dixon at the Bridgeview Hotel on Harrison Road.
