Wanted teen arrested after 2 months

MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – Craig Larmont Curry, 18, was arrested after a 2 month search for the wanted suspect.

According to a news release from the Bibb County Sheriff’s Office, Curry was wanted for his involvement in an April aggravated assault incident.

Authorities say Curry and four other suspects assaulted a man in the parking lot of Sparks Cafe. Four of the suspects were arrested, Curry was still on the run.

In May, Curry allegedly robbed a friend at gunpoint, taking cash, clothes and a Xbox 360.

Curry was arrested in an apartment on Case Street, Tuesday.

He’s charged with 3 counts of aggravated assault, 3 counts of armed robbery, 3 counts of kidnapping and burglary.

Mercer University Police had outstanding warrants on Curry for carrying a weapon on school property criminal trespass, and escaping after arrest.

He’s being held in the Bibb County Jail without bond.
