41NBC partners with American Red Cross for summer blood drive

MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – 41NBC has partnered with the American Red Cross for the Memorial day Weekend Blood Drive and we want you to donate.

Red Cross members say during the summer there is a shortage of donors because a lot of people are on vacation.

41NBC’s Marco La Manno stopped by Bass Pro Shops to donate.

If you would like to become a donor there is still time.

Monday, May 25, you can come to the Galleria Mall from 1:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. and the red Cross Macon Blood Donation Center 11:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.

Donors of all blood types are needed, especially those with O negative, A negative and B negative.
