Storms Around Until Midnight

Showers and thunderstorms are on the increase across Middle Georgia this afternoon.  The biggest threats will be from TONS of lightning, heavy rain and winds that could gust to around 30-40 mph.  The showers and storms will be possible until around Midnight tonight.  The overall Severe weather threat is low, but there will be a very small chance we see a warning or two.  Again, lightning, very heavy rainfall, gusty winds to 35-40 mph are likely with the storms.  Temperatures are going to be in the 80’s where the rain isn’t yet, but it will quickly drop into the 70’s with rain.  The weather going into your Wednesday and Thursday will be about the same.  Thunderstorm chances start to go down on Thursday, but still there.  Friday and Saturday look to be the smallest chances for showers and storms for us.  More storm chances for us on Sunday, but small chances.  Better chances for showers and storms will be with us again next week.  Stay tuned!
